MuleGuard Enterprise™
Financial Crime Compliance, Reimagined
Powered by Beyond Compliance™ — Detect · Investigate · Resolve
- IMPLEMENTEDOperational in the current build.
- SHAREDDelivered through a reusable shared service.
- PARTIALPartially implemented (for example, a focused module or demonstration).
- PLANNEDRegistered or on the roadmap; not yet operational.
- EXTERNAL VERIFICATION REQUIREDConfigurable, but must be verified in the customer environment.
MuleGuard Enterprise™
MuleGuard Enterprise™ is the financial-crime compliance suite of the Beyond Compliance™ platform.
One platform. Many Guards. Shared services. No duplication.
The Executive Challenge
Financial-crime compliance teams are expected to do more, faster, with greater explainability — while budgets, regulators, and criminal sophistication all increase. Most teams are held back by the same structural problems.
- •Fragmented tools — detection, screening, investigation, and reporting live in separate products that do not share context.
- •Legacy integration — onboarding a new source system takes months; connectors are vendor-locked.
- •Alert overload — high false-positive rates drown analysts and slow genuine cases.
- •Opaque decisions — AI that cannot explain itself fails under regulator review.
- •Slow investigations — investigators lack a single workbench with full entity context.
- •Operational gaps — compliance operations and platform operations run in separate tools, with no shared health view.
What MuleGuard Enterprise Is
MuleGuard Enterprise™ is a suite of focused compliance products — Guards — built on one set of shared platform services. Customers license the Guards they need and expand incrementally.
MuleGuard Enterprise™ is the suite. MuleGuard™ is a distinct, dedicated mule-account intelligence product within that suite. They are not the same thing: the suite spans the full financial-crime lifecycle; the MuleGuard product focuses specifically on mule-account detection and intelligence.
- •Suite — AML, screening, KYC/KYB, fraud, scam, case management, investigation, evidence, and regulatory reporting.
- •MuleGuard product — Mule-account intelligence (currently a demonstration capability plus an analysis agent; a standalone product is on the roadmap).
- •Shared services — authentication, access control, audit, evidence, workflow, reporting, and the API gateway exist once and are reused by every Guard.
Financial-Crime Product Ecosystem
Each product below is labelled by its current build status. Only IMPLEMENTED capabilities are described as operational.
The authoritative platform registry contains 46 product and Guard entries: 10 built and operational, 3 partial or shared, and 33 registered for future delivery. Counts are sourced from the registry, not marketing estimates.

End-to-End Application Flow
MuleGuard Enterprise covers the full compliance lifecycle, from onboarding through to audit and operations.
- •Onboard — KYC and KYB with risk scoring and maker-checker approval.
- •Screen — sanctions, watchlist, PEP, and adverse-media screening at onboarding and continuously.
- •Monitor — real-time transaction screening and fraud-signal ingestion.
- •Detect — typology detection, risk scoring, and alert generation.
- •Triage — alert grouping, prioritisation, and assignment.
- •Investigate — investigator workbench with full entity context and network graph.
- •Decide — decision policies (allow, review, hold, block) with reason codes.
- •Report — SAR/STR/CTR regulatory filing with source lineage.
- •Audit — immutable audit trail and evidence packs.
- •Operate — integrated operations, health, incidents, and resilience.
AI and Agent-Assisted Compliance
AI is delivered today as a copilot and investigator assistant. Full autonomous (agentic) operation is a roadmap capability, protected by an opt-in toggle, a kill switch, and mandatory human approval for every action.
- •Current — Compliance Copilot for in-context guidance; Investigator AI for alert analysis, evidence summarisation, and narrative drafting.
- •Current — AI suggestions are durable: each carries confidence, explanation, evidence references, and model metadata, and never auto-activate.
- •Roadmap — Agentic mode where assistants may act within guarded boundaries, always with human approval and a kill switch.
- •Governance — AI receives metadata and redacted samples only; raw secrets are never exposed to models.
Investigation, Evidence and Regulatory Reporting
Every decision must be explainable and traceable to a record. MuleGuard Enterprise enforces this by design.
- •Case lifecycle — notes, tasks, checklists, timelines, assignment, and kanban-style management.
- •Evidence lineage — evidence packs, legal hold, chain of custody, and immutable snapshots captured at alert creation.
- •Maker-checker — separation of duties; the author of a decision cannot be its final approver.
- •Regulatory reporting — SAR/STR/CTR workflow with a full state machine from suspicion decision through drafting, review, approval, submission, acknowledgement, and amendment.
- •No hallucination — narratives cite their sources; missing-information flags are raised rather than invented.
Integration Hub and Data Source Intelligence
The Integration Hub is the connective tissue between a customer’s source systems and the platform’s canonical model.
- •Guided wizard — a resumable, dependency-aware onboarding flow for every data source.
- •Credential vault — secrets are encrypted and stored only in a dedicated vault; they never appear in connection records, autosave, or audit logs.
- •Connection testing — connectivity, authentication, schema access, and sample-read validation.
- •Schema discovery and mapping — source-to-canonical field mapping with AI-assisted suggestions that require human approval.
- •Data quality — reusable quality rules with results tracked per source.
- •Readiness scoring — a derived status that reflects configuration, mapping, validation, and connection health.
Enterprise Operations Center
A single mission control for the platform, the integrations, and the compliance operations.
- •System and integration health, security operations, and compliance operations in one view.
- •Incidents, performance, live monitoring, queues, jobs, and connectors.
- •Observability — metrics, traces, logs, alerts, and service-level objectives.
- •Production operations — maintenance windows, disaster recovery, backup and restore, scaling, upgrades, and secrets rotation.
- •Connector operations — stress tests, circuit breakers, dead-letter handling, diagnostics, and reliability reporting.
Security, Governance and Deployment
Security and governance are shared platform services, inherited by every Guard. Deployment options are described truthfully by status.
| Area | Status |
|---|---|
| Identity, access control, and maker-checker separation of duties | IMPLEMENTED |
| Encrypted credential vault and secret rotation | IMPLEMENTED |
| Immutable audit trail, evidence packs, and legal hold | IMPLEMENTED |
| Multi-tenant isolation | IMPLEMENTED |
| Cloud SaaS deployment | IMPLEMENTED |
| Private cloud, on-premise, or hybrid deployment | EXTERNAL VERIFICATION REQUIRED |
| Air-gapped deployment | PLANNED |
Evidence-Based Competitive Positioning
MuleGuard Enterprise™ is positioned on architectural principles, not on claims about what competitors lack.
See the Comparison Generator in the Documentation Studio for an evidence-controlled matrix. Competitor capabilities are only recorded with sourced evidence; where evidence is unavailable, the neutral wording "Not identified in reviewed public materials" is used. No statement that a competitor lacks a capability is made without reliable evidence. Pricing and ROI comparisons require documented assumptions.
- •Modular per-product licensing rather than a monolithic suite.
- •Shared services that exist once and are reused across products.
- •Integrated operations, evidence, and audit on one platform.
- •Explainable AI with mandatory human approval.
Benefits, Adoption Path and Next Steps
MuleGuard Enterprise is designed for incremental adoption — start with the Guards you need and expand as your programme matures.
- •Adoption path — scope, design, configure, deploy, validate, pilot, then production, with reference implementations and enablement content.
- •Explainable, audit-ready decisions with source lineage.
- •Integrated operations for resilience and lower operational risk.
- •Mobile and field-ready workflows for branches and investigators.
